Trading cards have always been keepsakes. For a young athlete, seeing yourself on a real card — your name, your number, your photo — is a moment families want to hold onto. That's what makes custom athlete trading cards different from the usual fundraising fare: they're not something families feel obligated to buy, they're something they actually want.
Own the Moment
That insight is behind Lab 111's Own the Moment program. Instead of selling wrapping paper or candy bars, teams fundraise with custom card sets featuring their own players. Families and supporters buy cards of the athletes they came to cheer for, and every set doubles as a keepsake from the season.
The fundraising piece is built in: 20% of profits go back to the league. Teams raise money with a product that celebrates their players, and the league gets support without asking volunteers to push products nobody wants. It's a keepsake first — the fundraiser comes along for the ride.
